Okay kids, the first photos are going up:
Sarah's pictures of Japan
I'll chronicle the yarn purchases later. But I promise you, it will be worth it.

My name is Sarah, and this is my blog. I'm a graduate student in physics that knits. Or a knitter that physics, however you want to have it. This site has no real information on string theory. But come on. Physics? Knitting? I've heard enough string theory jokes to know I need to address this issue head on. You can email me at theoriesofstring AT gmail DOT com. You can also find me on Ravelry as theoriesofstring.

It is so pretty! My baby and I were just wondering if it was so pretty in real life (we were watching Karate Kid II). It looks like you are having fun and I can't wait to see your yarns!!!!!
PLEASE tell me you bought me nonoxiousness from Condomania. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
Ooh, lucky you! Someday my husband and I will go to Japan...
So cool!!!! Beautiful pics.
Is it just me, or does the red panda appear to be in somebody's kitchen?? I'm sure that's his cell at the zoo, but seriously, throw in a SubZero and he's got his own show on the Food Network. Or, maybe that's where you keep red pandas in Japan...
Also particularly liked the (ninja?) tutrles. And the dialogue about the toilet. Not to mention Condomania. Can't wait to see your Noro booty.
Looks so nice! Glad you are having fun and "learning" too, right? About what...that doesn't matter at all. Go socks!
